A BIGGER AND BETTER JUNGLE ISLAND FOR MIAMI

Jungle Island, Miami’s landmark attraction, is undergoing major changes and the multi-million dollar project will be in a three-part renovation and expansion that will include zip lines, children’s adventures, water slides, a massive lagoon for swimming and water sports and a private beach club. The enhancement will also bring upgraded restaurants, a renovated banquet area and new animal adventures. It is expected to be completed in two years.

The first part of the enhancement plan, the addition of more than 5,600 feet of zip lines with drops as high as 14 stories over Miami, will debut this summer.

Building upon a rich tradition that began in 1936, Jungle Island is home to some of the world’s rarest and most exotic animals. Visitors can choose to participate in hands-on interactions with fascinating animals or go on guided behind-the-scenes VIP tours. Jungle Island enriches the lives of park visitors through immersive, real-life jungle experiences centered on adventure, animals, discovery and play. With its newly renovated Treetop Ballroom and picturesque outdoor spaces including a private beach, the 18-acre park also serves as Miami’s destination for extraordinary events.
